The SOLUBILITY OF IRON IN THE ZINC SOLUTION INCREASES WITH TEMPERATURE, AND EVERY CHANGE IN THE TEMPERATURE OF THE ZINC SOLUTION IN THE furnace will lead TO EITHER SUpersATURation (as the temperature decreases) OR UNsaturation (as the temperature increases) OF IRON. When the iron factor is supersaturated, the supersaturated iron will react with the aluminum alloy, ensuing in an amplify in the quantity of scum. When the iron issue is now not saturated, the corrosion of zinc pan and gooseneck substances will be improved to return to the saturated state. A frequent end result of each temperature adjustments is the eventual depletion of aluminum and the formation of greater scum .
