When other conditions (refers to the voltage is unchanged, because the ion diffusion speed is accelerated, the current will increase) are unchanged, increasing the temperature of the solution will usually accelerate the cathodic reaction rate and ion diffusion rate, reduce the cathodic polarization effect, and thus make the coating crystal coarser. However, it can not be considered that increasing the solution temperature is unfavorable. If it is properly coordinated with other process conditions, increasing the solution temperature will also achieve good results. For example, increasing the temperature can increase the upper limit of the allowed cathodic current density, and the increase of the cathodic current density will increase the cathodic polarization to make up for the shortage of temperature rise. In this way, the coating will not crystallize and coarser, but will accelerate the deposition rate and improve the production efficiency. In addition, it can also improve the conductivity of the solution, promote the anode dissolution, improve the cathode current efficiency (except chrome plating), reduce pinhole, reduce the internal stress of the coating and so on.
