Common fault of chrome plating : plating shedding
Solution:
(1) Improper anode current density affects coating adhesion. The current density is too high, resulting in the black chromium coating easy to fall off, so we must pay attention to control the cathode current density within the range specified in the process.
(2) SiF6 in plating solution; A high content, will also make the black chromium coating easy to fall off, can be reduced by electrolytic treatment and maintain in the process range.
